When and Where
In 2012 the 25th annual Tradition Golf Classic – Vancouver, the most important fundraiser each year for the BC Golf House Society is going to be held at Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club, one of Vancouver’s most prestigious golf clubs, .
Monday May 28th is the date so be sure to get your foursome together and enter , or enter as a single, twosome or threesome, because the event will surely sell out.
An important note: entry is available only to members of the BC Golf House Society until March 31st. Should there be any spots available at that date, entries from non-members will be accepted. Memberships can be submitted on line through the website.
Format
Teams of four amateurs will be joined by a Professional from the Vancouver Golf Tour or the PGA of BC. The three low net (full handicap) scores will count on each hole. The Professional’s score may be one of the three counting scores. Players may enter as a team or allow the Committee to put them in a foursome.
What is Included?
Each player’s entry fee is $275 and includes the following:
- Lunch
- Tee gifts
- complimentary practice balls
- 18 holes of great golf including golf cars at Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club, which celebrated its centennial in 2011 by holding a very successful and popular RBC Canadian Open Championship
- Dinner
- Prizes
Following dinner there will be a live and silent auction along with other features.
Schedule of Events
11:30 AM – registration available
12 noon - lunch, registration and tee gift distribution
1:15 PM - shotgun start
6:00 PM - open no host bar
6:30 PM - dinner, silent auction
7:45 PM - prize distribution
8:30 PM - close silent auction and open live auction
